He's not that thin either. I can deal with the fat. It's the overall look he's got going in those pictures that irritates me. He makes being a Kryptonian look like some piece of redneck trailer trash. He couldn't look any trashier if he had a beer in one hand, his wife's hair in the other, and was on an episode of COPS.

I'm a fan of Russell Crowe. Shame he couldn't have turned up in a non "follow the Nolan" Supes flick.

I'd rather Craig as Superman than some of the other choices I heard...like Nicholas Fucking Cage. Could barely accept him as Johnny Blaze. Incidently, a sequel to Ghost Rider is in the works (love the comic).

Cage as Superman makes me shudder. That man is deluded if he thinks he's right for the role.

Supergirl will gets the bad guys locked up, but not through crime fighting.

Deleted scene that explains why Supes can't just get ahead of the missile and wait for it, as the missile would simply evade him. Dodgy effects likely being the reason Donner cut it. Though it's definitely got that Mankiewicz touch, "New Jersey? WHAT THE HELL IS IN NEW JERSEY?!"

And Cliff still sound just like Ciff "uhh actually..."

Ratzenberger sounds the same in anything he does really. Seem to remember some Charlie Sheen film where he's a cop. Just picture Clavin in police uniform. "Ahhh...little known fact sergeant."

He also appears in SUPERMAN II, oddly he shows no Cliff-isms in the scene he's in.

He's practically Shane Rimmer, he's in BRIDGE TOO FAR next to Redford, he's in the EMPIRE snow battle, he helps make mitchell gant a runway in FIREFOX ...

He was pissed he couldn't play Bond too. Frozen in pre-pubescence, like a character from a bad movie on TNT.

Tried watching the extended cut of SUPERMAN. It's difficult to get through because, well, the remixed audio is such a hack job. Does anyone actually buy that story of the original audio mix getting deteriorated like VERTIGO bad? It was only 20 years old when the restoration was being produced.
