They should include a catheter with this new set, since GL seems so intent on taking the piss out of us.

I swear that fucking Krayt Dragon call has been changed in every fucking cut. Last time it was supposed to sound like his mount in Episode III.

Also, fuck all this bullshit, glad I got the theatricals on the piss-poor DVDs he put out while I could.

Damn, why didn't they just use Mr Wint's "WOOOOOOOH!!!!!"? Hopefully, some YouTuber will oblige us with the necessary dub once this latest shitheap release hits the shelves. Not only am I now more tempted than ever to hunt down and destroy George Lucas, I'm now equally tempted to hunt down every moron who gives him money for inflicting these changes on us.

Every mug who buys the blu-ray set is paying George Lucas to wreck the saga. Simple maths: If everybody went on a Star Wars DVD purchase strike until Lucas released the original trilogy unaltered in the blu-ray format, then Lucas would relent. He cares too much about the money not to. There aren't many people who love the original trilogy more than I do, yet I'm not going within a hundred yards of these latest altered atrocities. Why can't others who complain yet still buy just do the same until the tinkering t*** gives them what they really want?

And shit, that's the original Star Wars blighted for the 3D cinema release as well. The SE of Star Wars is easily the least offensive of the three alteration-wise IMO, but now Mr Wint's "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!" has really upped the fuckery-ometer on it.

Seriously though, people should just fucking refuse to buy Star Wars on DVD anymore until he gives us the proper fucking film. Hell, I even go on fucking artwork strike over DVDs, so it's twice as hard for me to be vigilant. Yet I am. Surely others can just strike over what's on the discs? Then in a couple of years he'll relent and give us the original versions on blu-ray.

Anyone who condones that fucking "NOOOO!!!!" being stuck in Jedi is retarded. Not only was it a rather silly moment in Revenge Of The Sith, it's now become more associated with the fucking internet and messageboards than with Star Wars itself. Lucas may as well have just stuck Rick fucking Astley on in the cantina while he was at it, and stuck a "LOL" subtitle over Jabba's laughing. This is now taking the piss beyond words. Thank God for my original trilogy VHS's, plus the fact that my original trilogy DVDs aren't bad as I'm yet to buy a 40+ inch LCD TV which would probably break them up and make them look like shit.

The originals will never be release with Lucas alive and kicking. I'm sure whoever takes over LucasFilm in the future would be savvy enough to consider hyping up a new release of the original films in a proper transfer. That's gold right there and Lucas knows that's his trump card.

When I scanned over the previous page and saw the Vader video, I assumed a fan had edited the infamous ROTS "Nooooo!" into ROTJ. Little did I know 'twas Lucas himself who did it.

Good God. Really? That was necessary? The movie was incomplete without it?

I'm not even going to comment on Obi-Wan's monkey orgasm.

I just have a couple of words for dear George:

If the past is any indication, these changes will be gone next time around. Just like Luke's scream in Empire.

The changes are genuine.

Horrible stuff. Lucas just ruined the best moment of RETURN OF THE JEDI.

What the hell is this? They've added more rock? Why? What was wrong before? Plus, the way it's been redone, how are we to believe that Artoo was able to get through that gap?

I wish he'd spent as much effort on the Prequel scripts as he is fucking around with the OT.

Star Wars is dead to me. Period. One of these days I might pick up the originals on those shitty Laserdisc rips he crapped out in 2006. Used. One, to save money. Two, to not give that guy another dime for Star Wars.

His effort to destroy what built his empire has officially become a parody of it's self. He's reached the point of no return. That's not hyperbole, by the way. The 2006 DVDs were the last straw, but he's now officially lost his mind. Ewoks blinking. That's what did it. Ewoks blinking. More than Vader yelling "Noooo" in ROTJ now. It's Ewoks blinking.

YODA: The subway. Coming it is.

LUCAS: Yep. *PUSH*

Or I'm sure you could come up with your own captions. A gold mine, that pic is.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, George Lucas joined the dark sike of the Force. Now, he is destroying his own universe, even though the two best films of the Star Wars saga are the two ones he didn't direct. This guy is pathetic.

Why even do that? What possible reason? "Oh, yeah, back in 1976 I always intended there to be a big rock there, we just never had te time and money to move it into place." This is clearly, clearly, fucking with stuff just to fuck with stuff. Mad trollin'.

So Amazon UK is currently offering the six-film Blu-ray collection for £67.49.

It's also offering the six-film Blu-ray collection with a limited edition film cell for £57.37.

Let me get this straight: buy the collection without the limited edition extra thrown in and it'll cost you a tenner more than if you opt to receive the same box set accompanied by this film cell? Strange.
