Wasn't sure if this was the right forum for this so if it needs to be moved to another one, please do so.

The Ropers on Antenna TV. It was an episode where the very first Bond actor(CR '54's "Jimmy Bond" himself, Barry Nelson) guest starred as the hobo uncle of Stanley and Helen's snooty neighbor, the pretentious Mr. Brooks.

We plan to create a TV board when we shift things around very soon. :) I'll just move this thread there when it happens.

Last TV show I watched? I suppose it was one of those bogan morning shows. I think it was the Channel 9 one. This morning there was footage of a bully punching a fat schoolkid in the face. The fatty just stood there taking the hits like a sissy but then he finally snapped and picked up the litle C*** and slammed his head to into the ground. It was pretty awesome.

Outcasts

A politically correct version of Battlestar Galactica.

Only the BBC could completely miss the point like that.

Fall Guy- Charlie

The Bert Trautmann Story

Interesting documentary on the life of the legendary German-born Manchester City goalkeeper and his life from his days in the Luftwaffe during World War II, to his time in England.

Batman: The Wail of the Siren. One of my favorite 3rd season episodes where Joan Collins guest stars as femme fatale Lorelei Circe a.k.a. "The Siren".

Season 1
Episode 1:
Hollywood

You call this Law & Order? Bullshit! It's like any other crime show today, the whole realism of the original is right in the garbage. Only Alfred Molina is convincing, and that's because he's Alfred Molina.

Batman- Come Back, Shame/ It's How You Play the Game

typical hijinks. Cliff Robertson as Shame, the kid from the Poseidon Adventure walking around aimlessly "come back, Shame...come back, Shame..." only to be sent on his way 'to being a good citizen' by Batman. I'm quite sure Burt Ward when playing Dick Grayson doesn't change his voice, Adam West's changes a fraction but Ward just shouts...Well. ITV4 are ditching these in a week for Cricket next week, Indian League or whatever it is. Hopefully they'll resume and the Green Hornet crossover tapes will be shown.

Fall Guy- Reluctantly Travelling Companion

with Richard Burton as himself. How the mighty fell. Not you, Majors.

and a peek at Enemy at the Door starring OHMSS' Bernard Horsfall. Compared to the more recent Island at War this is done better, similar in look to Colditz.

So, I've been watching Law and Order: UK, and I'm from the states. I find this show completely amazing, I really love it. But I have to ask all of you from the UK: do people really like this show IN the UK? Or am I just a deluded American? laugh

yes. Wasn't too bad otherwise, I'd say the extended edition would not look as choppy as is often the case but it's not on tomorrow...tis be golf.

Another chance tonight though to see Sarah Palin's "squirmish" and a good chuckle at "you were inbedded in Basra"

Horizon

A guide to the Space Shuttle.

Nice touch having "to be continued..." at the end. Shame to see an end to this era.

A couple of old Tommy Cooper shows on ITV4. A lot of it is very dated (and some of it would now be classed as "racist") but Cooper's charismatic personality wins through. 8)
