Did anyone else read the thread title and wonder why Spielberg's alien was brought to the Skyfall set?

No, but I did like the way Entertainment Tonight kept re-running the same few scenes of footage in their report to make it appear that they had more than they really did.

I remember watching Entertainment Tonight visit the set of A View To A Kill and show us Bond trying to avoid getting caught in the blades of an oil pump, or On Top of The World show us the car chase in Paris. I remember watching Good Morning America visit the Morrocan set of TLD, where they were filming the motorcycle-in-the-Kasbah sequence. I remember watching GMA visit the Key West set, where they were filming the jump from the helicopter on to dry land and the shootout on the airstrip. I remember watching E! visit the Goldeneye set and film the sequence where Bond and Natalya shoot their way out of a Russian prison.

And now I'm watching Entertainment Tonight (and various other networks) show us repeated footage of what people with cell phones have been showing us for months: Bourne Bond running....and running....and running. Somebody wake me up when this actually becomes a real Bond movie.

This is quite a valid observation...I'm a bit tired of the running man scenes myself...both Bourne and Ethan Hunt do enough of that...

I'm wondering why they had to stage a tube though...couldn't a real Underground be used??
