Part of me says, "It's Wes Anderson doing that Wes Anderson thing again." But, that said, it does look like a lot of fun.

The MOONRISE KINGDOM Criterion release will surely follow. They're in love with this guy.

Fantastic. Dare I say a big fan of Anderson's so I'll be there. Probably in an empty cinema but so be it. And the added bonus of Bill Murray, again.

Adjacent to the Cannes piece today the Times had a review of Moonshine Kingdom. 4 out of 5 stars which isn't too shabby by their standard, they seem to be quite behind it citing in the last paragraph the music.
"A heavyweight classical score from Purcell, Britten and Alexandre Desplat underpins the lightweight humour..."
Out in Blighty a week tomorrow.

Just walked back from it. Wes Anderson's finest film to date. A joy to watch.
Still letting my thoughts ferment.

Been unable to catch it thus far as no cinema in a county wide radius seems to be showing it. Likely catch it at the Prince Charles in a few weeks.

Really enjoyed this. I'd say The Royal Tenenbaums is still my favorite Anderson flick, but this is just as good as that and the rest of his flicks. Though I haven't seen The Darjeeling Limited or The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

Just saw this the other week. Never really saw any of Anderson's stuff, but I loved the film. It was pretty damn good and very enjoyable. Definitely worth seeing. I would highly recommend it.

I think that Anderson is the most overhyped director of his generation, but the trailers for this have me intrigued.

Anderson always seems underhyped to me. But then I don't move in large circles.

The Prince Charles Cinema in London are having a 'WesFest' all from Bottle Rocket to Darjeeling Ltd.
