Some people, especially Christians, are saying that photo sexualizes breast feeding and they find it disgusting and offensive.

did you see the image of Mary breast feeding Jesus?

Think they've got a fair point to be honest. The lady that TIME have selected for the photo-shoot isn't exactly unattractive. They could have picked someone far more 'average'.

But as a shock tactic, the photo works as intended.

The article is about alternative forms of raising a child, including letting the kid sleep in the bed with you till 10 years of age, or breastfeeding a child until they are 6 or 7.

Dollars to donuts that the woman in that picture is a Democrat: they have some fascination with letting people suckle on the teat of big government from the cradle to the grave, so it makes sense they'd also let a child suckle until pre-pubescence.
