Who have you invited?

I thought I'd create a thread where we can all post who we've invited. This might help the administration out, giving them a "heads up" on who will be making an account over here.

Simply supply the person's relation to you, or where they're coming from (if they're from another familiar forum). Be sure to include their possible username, as well, so the administrator will be able to verify them.

alas, beyond old MI6 I've no means of contacting them. Personally both are solid people.

I invited chigawa via youtube. I told him about the site, but I didn't tell him the name, or link it or anything of the sort.

He hasn't replied yet....

Are we allowed to invite any members from DanielCraigIsNotBond?
Some of those guys would fit in quite well here. Despite a dislike of Daniel Craig as James Bond, most of them are open minded, mature and can openly discuss Bond well.
There are also plenty of Trekkies there to, so judging by some of the threads here, could fit in here as well.

I'm also waiting for a post from retrokitty saying she asked a certain Daniel to join.... ;)

As I said in the other thread, I invited kyvan. Not sure if he'll join, though.

I gave Khan a heads-up on NuMI6, though he's yet to respond.

I invited Rummy and explained that this isn't a bitch forum. I hope he comes over.

I invited Oppers, Rave and Khan via CBn but their PMs haven't been picked up. MOO7RE is already a member of this fine establishment, but he's probably unaware it's been revitalised.

I've invited a friend who isn't affiliated with MI6 or MGM, so she'll be fine in terms of secrecy. Her username will be Pussy Galore 69. She loves James Bond, and has for a at least 2 years, but she's not as knowledgeable in the field of OO7. But she'll learn, and she wants to learn more. She, however, is mature and intelligent, and I think she'll make fine contributions to the film section too.

I know Rummy very well off the forum and though he is friends with St. George, on the forum and off, he is not part of any club but his own. He's a completely random and quite genius individual. I'd be surprised to find out that he'd feel disloyalty to anyone by joining another forum. It's not as if he can't be part of both. But it's up to him if he has the time or want. Should he not join though, I can say for certain that it has nothing to do with St. George or some end poverty campaign. You'd be surprised how wrong that statement is.

If there's anyone you'd like to invite, I'm opening the quick and easy registration again at least for the next few hours, depending on how it goes. If everything goes fine, then the registration will remain that way for the forseeable future. But if we get anybody coming in with dubious intent, it will be put straight back to approval-only. So try and bring in anybody you'd like as a member tonight if possible, while it's quick and easy. And, if possible, try to give us a heads-up in this thread before they arrive so that we know they're sincere and not spies/troublecausers/trolls.

How are there guests online if the forum is secure?

There may be some restrictions on guest accounts.

I remember when I was running Studio B., I could pick and choose where guests were able to post, or what forums they were able to view. Might be the same thing that's going on here. Since Nick, or Dublo, or whoever the hell it was, posted in the "New Member" section the other day as a guest, and not elsewhere, perhaps they're only permitted to access this part of the forum.

"Guests" shouldn't be able to see a thing on here. Try logging out, and click on any of the other options (home, etc). You should need to be logged in to see anything here. I'd ignore the guest number.

I tried, but it gave some error message last night about too many new members or somesuch.
