Likewise. A very strong top 10. Impressive to see films such as DAF and MR, which tend to be dismissed by the bigger broader Bond-community, better appreciated by the BAB's community of discerning Bond-buffs.
then there is the matter of YOLT.....shameful Indeed. |

Yes, painful on both accounts. LALD is my favourite of the post Connery films. Probably because of it's promixity to the classic era. LALD is quite a smart little Bond-film. It does capture much of the vibe of the Fleming book as well, with Bond tracking Big from New York and the States, culminating in Bond's final Caribbean assault on Big's lair. Bond wrestles with the notion of black magic in both the book and the film, moreso in the book, although the voodoo presence is more visibly evident in the film, I think. Very smart of Eon to capture memorable, missing elements of the book in the film presentations of both FYEO and LTK. |

| The only one who match are LTK and Die Another Day.

| Could we restart this thread for 2014? I'd be glad to head it up, if so. |

| Might be better to re-format the contest first. Not sure how much mileage the elimination game format has left. |
