I don't know why people seem to think that that shot of Daniel Craig is somehow clever or looking like Bond. The first time I saw it, I thought it looked like something someone in a fan-made film would produce. It's ver CASINOROYALE. But the MS Painters who seem to think that superimposing the film's title over the latest publicity shot makes for a good poster were enamoured with it and went bananas over-using it when it ruins pretty much anything it's in. |

Indeed. A shockingly poor Bond poster, this one. Bond himself looks awful and awkward, while Silva's attire makes him look generic and dull. There's also the rather odd sense that whoever design- sorry, photoshopped it, has maybe been looking at our banners, especially the one which Mrs Sects superimposed the 007 logo behind. :| |

| I am afraid to say that I agree with just about everybody else about this poster. Although not a bad poster (Craig looking very Bond-ish, no particularly evident photoshoopping), the poster is, like the QOS poster, very dull and boring looking.
Hopefully we will soon be getting something a little bit more exciting in the near future. |

The arm protruding out of Craig on the right is a bit awkward. |

For a campaign that the most complimentary description might be 'minimal' - they're cluttered and badly composed, all of them. An averagely talented teenager with the most rudimentary grasp of Photoshop could produce better.
Couldn't they have employed a talented designer to produced something professional and in some way imaginative?
This is a series celebrating its 50th anniversary, that once had ALL of its posters crafted by the likes of Robert Brownjohn, Robert Peak, Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy. I mean, [censored]ing hell, just look at this substandard rubbish. |

Agreed. It's kind of odd that they'd give Moneypenny her own poster but not M. |

I'm going to defend the poster. I think it's the best of anything we've gotten in the Craig-era so far. It least it looks enticing, inviting, with a hint of intrigue and mystery. The poster for QOS was so dour and dull, with two characters on the front that appeared miserable and practically embarrassed to be in a BOnd film. Harris cleans up nicely; I wasn't sure whether she was hot enough to be Bond Girl material a year ago, but I only had what she looked like in 'Pirates' to go on. My irritation with her look is based upon her hair: I've never liked the corkscrew/fuselli style on any woman, and I prefer the Bond Girls have longer hair. I absolutely believe that Barbara insisted that Naomi be allowed to keep her hair "kinky" and not straighten it in order to not offend the black female demographic (which I'm sure is going to be coming out in massive numbers for Skyfall as is always the case with every Bond movie  ). Be that as it may...though not my preference, she still looks pretty good. Now we'll have to see whether her character is in the upper tier of great Bond Girls (such as Holly Goodhead, Natalya, or Pussy Galore) or a hot mess (like Mary Goodnight, Stacy Sutton, and Tiffany Case). Berenice looks good, but I would have preferred there not be any stitching on the sleeves and skirt of the dress; it distracts from the sheer, nude, see-through aspect of her outfit. Other than that, I think it's as good as anything we've gotten from EON in a while and probably the best we're going to get. The days of the grand, hand-drawn, larger-than-life posters from the 60's, 70's and 80's, are gone. EON has adopted simplicity as its motto, and that means keeping the characters front and center in the posters and not allowing for much in the background. |

She definitely will be to be alongside Natalya or Pussy, though. |

| Severine's is the best. Bond's looks absolutely ridiculous.
These look more like inserts from a GQ magazine, rather than posters. |

| They're just lazy. There's a difference between simplistic and lazy ... and these are lazy. Splattering a 007 logo and a cutout of the actors onto a white background isn't creative.
Could be worse, though. |

I do not actually understand people's complaints about Craig's appearance on this poster, besides his natural appearance (whether you like that or not), he is looking much more 'Bondian' on this poster than he did any of the others with much of his 'cragginess' air-brushed out and his hair tinted a bit darker. |

The photo of Craig has been fucked up with Photoshop doctoring. It looks unnatural and fake. Like I said, it looks like it's from a goddamn GQ magazine. |

Without getting into Craig Doesn't Faintly Resemble Bond again, I'd just like to say that in this collage poster picture, he looks more like Robert Patrick to me. Not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing, but it sure doesn't seem like a Bond thing. I've never thought about this as a possible excuse for how all movie posters have turned so shitty, but since big actors have to sign off on just about any use of their likeness, do you think that the slight 'caricature' effect in the grand old Bond posters would be something today's actors would feel ilnsecure about? Just wondering if all that great art didn't just die out with the artists, but that it is just not happening because somebody's agent is thumbs-downing it for him. |

| Had to go for the bottom option. Predictable of me? Sure, but when a million MS paint users could probably do better, do I have much choice? Dan Craig doesn't look like James Bond here, he looks as if he's about to bugger somebody, while Bardem looks f*cking awful, like a cross between Zao and Neo. Only the lovely Berenice escapes unscathed, I'm afraid.
