| Aronofsky's dropped out: http://www.deadline.com/2011/03/darren-aronofsky-out-of-wolverine/ Which is great, y'know, because I think Gavin Hood is free... Bob Zemeckis is also out of a job. Maybe they can rope him in. Or maybe... Shawn Levy. Yes. |

| This might just be the first X-Men film I see. |

| Aronofsky's involvement seemed too good to be true anyway. I'm sure FOX will just hire another hack willing to do their bidding.
Fuck FOX. |

| First Class at least looks worth a rent. The first Wolverine movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. On a level with Elektra and Catwoman. |

| I still haven't seen the whole flick. Just a few clips here and there on HBO when I'm trying to find something to watch. From what I've seen it had the feel of those shitty 80s Cannon flicks with shit effects, lots of bad/hammy acting and the overall direction looking cheap. It made THE LAST STAND look decent. |

| I feel sorry for Huge Action (sounds similar to his name) but Aronofsky probably wants to take a break after making 2 movies back to back.
I think Bryan Singer would be the obvious choice to direct.

| I don't imagine Singer would be very interested in sloppy seconds.
Brett Ratbastard? He'll take sloppy fifths if you just give him the money. |

| Since I'm not a huge fan of Aranofsky to begin with, this will make little difference in terms of my desire to see this. I likely won't. Singer made the first two watchable, but the third was atrocious. |

| Singer's too busy with Jack the Giant Killer.
David Slade, who was Aronofsky's main competitor for the job, has now signed on to the Daredevil reboot.
Hopefully, Ratner's still too working on Tower Heist. |

| Hugh Jackman will get his shirt off. I need little more than that. Although - having said that - it wasn't enough of a lure to get me to sit through Australia.
Wolverine is one of my favourite comic book characters. If not my favourite. I'm never sure - I alternate between Wolverine, Beast, Iron Man and Hawkeye. |
