I thought it looked kinda stupid, but I don't really give a crap.

I do like this ad. I will be buying a big box of Bond Heineken for my fridge.

Helps that I've always liked Heineken anyway. Its the first import that commanded real respect in the North American market, at least from experience.

In uni, if you wanted to show respect, you bought the person a Heineken and simply handed it to them. I think it was the only imported beer we sold in the school pub, but it did the trick. It made a statement.

Mind you I have no interest in playing the Crack the Case Game. Just sounds like a lot of work.

I've seen this Heineken ad play repeatedly on television, particularly on Sunday afternoons during all the football games. I have to say, it's a whole big steaming pile of nothing. What exactly is the point of the ad? Craig gives some guy being chased a tray full of beers and that's it? Have I missed something? I see nothing clever or inventive about the ad, and it seems like Merlot and Craig are essentially wasted in the promo.

Why has youtube blocked the ad? I thought the whole point of an ad was maximum exposure?
