Just came upon this while researching scripts written by Richard Maibaum. Haven't seen it, but...
Tank Force (1958): Robert Reitty, Bob Simmons, Luciana Paluzzi, George Pravda & Anthony Newley. Co-written and directed by Terence Young.

Amend The Longest Day (Sean Connery, Gert Fröbe, Curd Jürgens) to include Jack Hedley (Havelock, FYEO) and Walter Gotell.
If what I've read is right, Jack Hedley is still with us now aged 87. One of the few left from Lawrence of Arabia (and Longest Day for that matter)

Fair effort for Jack Hedley... So Moore was even older than his Bond girl's father in the film.

I didn't think about that. Clearly Sir Roger hadn't or else he might have packed it in after FYEO.

I won't lie, that looks eminently watchable in a dumb action movie sort of way.

Saw a DVD, Spinning Man
Brosnan and Minnie Driver
total aside, somebody at work is a total ABBA nut and said they saw Mamma Mia 2 at the weekend and said "Total crush on Pierce Brosnan…" and I found myself snapping: "My God the man WAS JAMES BOND!"
'Course, I work with people who I have to explain who JFK was and others...

That's 'Sudden Death' (Van Damme's 'Die Hard' in a hockey arena) in a football stadium. I'm in. But if you have enough explosives to kill everyone, why try to get one guy to kill one guy? I suppose I should just ask Liam Neeson.

Cone of Silence (1960) -Bernard Lee, Jack Hedley
Magic Christian (1969)- Christopher Lee, John Cleese
for a film so apparently naff, what a cast list if you ask me (and you didn't). Features two regular faces of British cinema who personally I wish had done a Bond film, albeit in the early days -Victor Maddern and David Lodge.
watching a bunch of Norman Wisdom films, they do contain what some might call bit part Bond actors. But, I don't know about anyone else, I tend to see these actors in films like these and think, oh it's so and so from Octopussy -proof perhaps that even a few minutes in a Bond film can be memorable. I refer chiefly to Stuart Sanders, in Wisdom's One Good Turn, who played the colonel that Bond rescues in Octopussy (playing backgammon with Khan), Honor Blackman (who of course needs no introduction) in The Square Peg, Michael Brennan (one of Largo's key goons in Thunderball) in a handful of Wisdom's, Michael Goodliffe, Stitch in Time and Sydney Tafler (Liparus CO, TSWLM, Lewis Gilbert's brother-in-law) in a handful of films (indeed, looking at Aveleyman.com, it seems to be the same crowd in every film).

watching Patton other day and apart from seeing the same two Heinkel bombers in every battle scene, spotted naturally bit part Bond actors memorable in their own way.
David Bauer (YOLT, DAF), of course Jack Gwillim (Thunderball), David Healy (YOLT, DAF), Douglas Wilmer
