| I don't got over to CBn that often, ever since the inmates started running the asylum, but I'm glad I did today because I found this - which I don't think has been posted yet (but I might have missed it in my spoiler avoidance): 50.112.251.215Follow that URL to go to a site where you can play an old-school text-based puzzle game where you give instructions to an agent to complete an assignment. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's good for half an hour and tests your lateral thinking puzzles. If you get stuck, here are some of the solutions; there is more than one way to solve the problem: Mission 1- Spoiler:
Send your agent underground, using the catacombs. When he sends you a copy of the map, place the laptop near the sign, the explosive watch on the pipes, and send your agent to stand by the drain. Mission 2- Spoiler:
Go down to the lobby. Have your agent describe it to you. When the arms dealer comes down, follow him outside. Use the tracking app on the tablet and have him plant the dud phone in the car while the arms dealer is waiting for the valet. Go back inside. The bomb is behind the bar. Have your agent plug his tablet into the USB slot. You will see an image of light being refracted. Cut the cables in the order of the colours shown to defuse the bomb. Mission 3 (it's possible I have Mission 3 and Mission 4 mixed up) - Spoiler:
Your agent will ask for you to search for a set of numbers. They are GPS co-ordinates. They point to the Ministry of the Interior in Bucharest. Have your agent search the desks and the laptop. Use the tape from the desk to stick the phone up against the bullet holes in the door. This will allow him to see the enemy agents inside the next room. Order him to shoot, but not to kill. Search the bodies and you will find an AK-47. Direct your agent to shoot the control panel in the room, causing the drone to crash. Mission 4 (it's possible I have Mission 3 and Mission 4 mixed up) - Spoiler:
Have the agent switch the cameras so that the monitor showing SOUTH 30 is changed to show SOUTH 31. Go down the empty corridor to the room. Search the computer to obtain the files. Search the waste basket to find a scrap of paper. Search the computer again and your agent will mention a map on the wall (previously referred to as a white board). Examine the whiteboard for a map of the building. Send him to room A7. Halfway there, he will take cover in the emergency fire marshalling point. Search this to find a respirator. Put it on and activate the halon fire extinguishers (activating the extinguishers before putting the respirator on will do nothing). Enter room A7 to find the hostage. Mission 5- Spoiler:
The code for the first door is based on a numeric phone pad. The first number is 2-3-6, the second is 6-9-8, and the third is 8-7-4. This makes the fourth code 4-2-1 - you may need to type it out as four-two-one - as it is based on the numbers going in a circile on the phone. Once inside, search the corridor to find a fire extinguiser. Use it to break open the blue server room. Your agent will upload a virus into the system and tell you the password is battle_of_trafalgar; remember this for later. He will find that the data on the server is very dangerous, and he may trip an alarm summoning armed guards. He may start to panic. Tell him to hide behind the server racks, and keep him calm if he starts to sprout gibberish. If he survives, he will ask you for the password.
Most of these puzzles are based on logic. The easiest way forward is to ask your agent to describe what he (or she) sees when entering a new space. Be aware that you are on a time limit, and if you take to long, your agent will be killed. You may need to restate your commands a few times - in some cases, the agent won't do what they're supposed to (they're really quite dumb, some of them) unless you include specific rooms. For instance "search" is more likely to produce a result than "check".

| Rather than lock up as a duplicate I merged yours with Sharky's thread since you gave some helpful suggestions for the viral game. Thanks! |

| It's kind of like the old Bond text games. A lot more interesting than some Facebook game, if you ask me. |
