Yeah, they always gave him a machine gun.

And Craig is only a hard drinker because of his binge on the plane, right?

Not to mention that Brosnan blew up Trevalyan's antenna and control room, which led to the direct or indirect death of about 30-40 people. That's on top of the Red Army soldiers he machine-gunned through the pre-titles and escape from St. Petersburg.

I feel limiting alcohol consumption to Martini's isn't giving us an accurate count. I'd assume Connery would jump up the rankings if the scope was widened to include all forms of booze.

And if Don Draper is in fact Bond undercover in 60's Manhattan, the booze and cooze counts will be off the charts.

Filthy habit.

Yeah, TND is where Bond became an American Action Hero. Doesn't smoke, but kills indiscriminately.

Oh for more Lazenby films. Skyrocket by the third.

Nice looking graph, interesting if chuckleworthy to have two Bond sites as sources and then [i]The Economist. Stands to reason Brozzer (Sir) had the most kills. Guns defo not making him nervous then.

Who would've thought Dalton would be the most peaceful of the Bonds? :)

He rarely killed - but when he did, he killed greatly.

Meh, this just tells us what we all knew already: That the Brosnan era chucked in piles of action sequences to pad out or excuse crap plots or drown out the sound of crap music scores. Or to try (unsuccessfully) to make a weak Bond look hard by having him wave a machine gun around.

Lazenby and Dalton only did three films between them, and all three of those films came out long before N64 and Playstation shoot-em-ups got a foot in the franchise.

I'm all for a table signifying the amount of times each Bond convincingly beat up another man.

Dalton Pre-Leiter: Necros, the poor bastards in the Russian tank, and Whitaker
Dalton Post-Leiter: The two Krest guards, Killifer, Sharky's killer, one of the divers, both of the pilots, one of Dario's thugs at the Barrelhead Bar, Dario, Perez and his buddies in the truck, and finally Sanchez.

None of those deaths involved a machine gun.

Didn't Dalton shoot out at some people (with a machine gun) when Necros and Koskov find Bond in the plane at the airbase?

Didn't hit anyone though. Looked like he was firing into the air to keep the Russkies away from the plane.

It's only really because of GOLDENEYE. Although he weilds some heavy weaponry in his films, most of the time he's actually pretty ineffectual with it because TOMORROW NEVER DIES, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and DIE ANOTHER DAY are all largely comparable to the other films. But in GOLDENEYE, he mows down what feels like half of the Russian Army when Natalya is abducted by Ourumov. And even then he's not very good, since he needs to destroy half of St. Petersburg before he gets anywhere near her. And he's still useless, because it's not until several hours after he has finished destroying the city that he actually catches up with her.

Are those visible bullet-impact 'squibs' waiting to be set off on the wall next to Brozzer there? :suspect:

Don't know but Brosnan looks like he's about to pass out from the effort soon.
