Quote :
French female justice minister Rachida Dati 'had eight boyfriends when she fell pregnant with love child'

France's first female justice minister was seeing up to eight boyfriends at around the time she had a love child, it was claimed today.

Revelations about Rachida Dati's extraordinarily busy love life have emerged in a bitter row about the paternity of the 47-year-old's daughter.

This woman is an example to us all. In the feeble words of Howard Jones, 'Don't crack up, bend your brain, see both sides, throw off your mental chains.'

Just to annoy you.

Not that it matters, but the story was the focus not the outlet.

1. Dominique Desseigne
2. TV host
3. French gov't minister
4. CEO of major company
5. Spanish prime minister
6. A brother of Nicolas Sarkozy
7. A Qatari Attorney General
8. The heir to a luxury goods empire

Well, it seems Ms Dati likes them rich, so that's me out of the frame. Shall we open a book on the identity of the others?

To borrow a phrase from Mitterand, et alors?
Is anyone under the illusion that elected officials live the lives of monks and nuns? :D

Certainly not. I admire the woman's energy and enterprise:

Well, I'm booked in at 17:00-17:15 so the schedule is fairly tight. Her PA seems very nice.

Yes but you get quiet a lot done in 15 minutes.

Quiet? Not me. I meant quite, of course.

Two years on and we have a winner -Dominique Desseigne. I'd like to thank the judge and everyone else who took part. Also Ms Dati for not putting my name forward. <3

Here's quite a pathetic fucking article:
http://goodmenproject.com/featured-content/wife-told-wants-cheat-heres-feel-gmp/

In summary, a wife posts about wanting to cheat on her husband and the husband responds with another post about talking about his feelings and telling the truth.

Wouldn't you just call it quits? When your significant other is interested in other people, romantically or sexually, then isn't the relationship over? I don't see the point of carrying on. You can only discuss your "true feelings" for so long before someone starts fucking someone else.

If someone wants to cheat then don't tell the world about it, just be discreet and try not to hurt anyone.

That link is pathetic. When did it become so difficult to be an adult?

It's official, folks. Monogamy is bad for men's health, while celibacy doubles the risk of prostate cancer. Somehow, I doubt the nanny state will be using this data in its next health campaign...

Quote :
Sex with 21 women lowers risk of prostate cancer, academics find
The University of Montreal has found that men who had sex with more than 20 women lower their prostate cancer risk

Sleeping with more than 20 women protects men against prostate cancer, a study has suggested.

Men who had slept with more than 20 women lowered their risk of developing cancer by almost one third, and were 19 per cent less likely to develop the most aggressive form.

Researchers at the University of Montreal believe that intercourse protects men, and men who are more promiscuous have more sex than those in monogamous relationships.

This seems a bit odd to me, what would be the health difference between a man who has lots of sex with five different women and one who does the same with 20 different women? How does the amount of sexual partners factor in?

Quote :

This seems to suggest that it's the frequency of sexual activity and not the amount of partners that is the key factor.

Correct, but the frequency of sexual activity decreases with a regular partner:

Quote :
having many female sexual partners results in a higher frequency of ejaculations, whose protective effect against prostate cancer has been previously observed in cohort studies," said lead researcher Dr Marie-Elise Parent.

That said, the report is badly written - journalists are generally pretty thick when it comes to interpreting research data. My favourite here is the sub who has added the headline, 'Sex with 21 women lowers the risk of prostate cancer'.

Twenty one is the magic number...

Sadly, nymphomania doesn't come into it. Does't matter how often she wants it or how many wigs and tricks she knows, in the end men need variety.

This somewhat reminds me of an experiment they recently conducted in Holland, where I believe half a dozen couples ranging in ages from early 20s to late 40s were asked to have sex at least once a day for at thirty day period. Two of the couples didn't last a single week (one stopped after three days IIRC). Perhaps challenging expectations, it was apparently the men of those two couples who wanted to stop.
Even those couples who did continue nearly all reported that they enjoyed their sex less.
The one couple which did alright and found it mostly fun were the forty-somethings.

I think that confirms this report not challenges it. Assuming a reasonably attractive man, I'd say that the ones who have the least sex are those trapped in longterm relationships.
