Not a bad tribute. Makes it very obvious how much the cinematography improved from CR to QOS/SF/SP.

Someone posted this in a Bond group on facey. Refreshingly void of Craig fanboyism. Also, a voiced cameo from the PainFace.

It certainly would have helped. But it wouldn't have fixed the parody that is Fatima Blush, that silly video game, etc.

Fatima, Fatima...so much with that film just is wrong. Couldn't imagine even Helga Brandt or Elektra King getting Bond to write that they were his best lay. Though I guess if McClory say had managed to get another Thunderball remake done in the early noughties maybe Bond would've played Largo in a game of Playstation 2 or some such? Aho

RE: Fatima, her final scene was clearly a means to get Bond to use the gadgets within the pen. It didn't feel organic, as it does in the official Bond films. But personally its her over acting that kills it for me, in the entire film. 

IIRC correctly, does she throw a snake into a car to kill someone? 

Watching that opening again though, it is so much better.

Here's a thought ... with McClory long dead and NSNA's rights now being with MGM, I wonder if EON would now be allowed to take it and, erm, 'Bondify' it in the way it has been in that clip Hilly posted.

Gunbarrel, Bond theme, non-shit title song (in fact, an entirely new score wouldn't go amiss) etc.

If only, if only they could. A little project before the next actual film comes out. Get Sir Sean to record a new intro and hire Nic Raine/AN Other composer to do a Barry-esque score.

I'd rather not. Continue to showcase NSNA's mediocrity in its original glory. Or destroy every copy. 

If we're to retouch Bond films I'd rather get rid of the slide whistle first.
