Do you trust your significant other with your money?

I know a couple of female friends, well several actually, married, happy...but have secret accounts that their guys know nothing about.

Just in case they need to finance an emergency retreat/exit sometime...

Unbelievably...Mr Dog and myself have never had a fight about money...but I still like to earn my own.

I'm not married or in a relationship at the moment, but I voted no.

A better question: do you trust your significant other with your booze and cigarettes?

As he earns all of it and is far more sensible with it than I am, yes, absolutely.

I think this thread could be retitled 'Do you trust your significant other?'

Nope. Not the same thing at all. Not for the rest of us, anyway.

That all depends, there is trust and then there is blind trust bordering on the naive.

To give an example: a rather well-off acquaintance of mine canceled his marriage at the 11th hour when his fiancée refused to sign a prenup.
I rather agree with him, that has nothing to do with a lack of trust and everything to do with being realistic.

He wasn't exactly my type. And that's an understatement.

He married and impregnated another girl within a year or so of his failed betrothal.
As far as I can tell, that marriage is still going strong.
