FRWL
DN
TB
GF
YOLT
DAF

The above ranking is solely based on the portrayal of the character, not the overall quality of the listed films.

If I were ranking the films, I'd move DAF ahead of YOLT.

A damn shame. As the old saying goes: four of Lana Wood's tits are better than two.

But yeah, YOLT in last place.

Ahh, the Connery era. It's probably one of the more diverse eras, actually. Not in a good way, though....

FRWL
DN
GF
TB
DAF
YOLT

NSNA (if you were wondering....)

Connery really did play cool the best, but then he phoned it in for 2 too many Bond films.

I know there's a black sheep, but I'd rather accept that old man as Bond than the impostor of 95-02.

Brosnan was only marginally younger in DAD and surely didn't look any younger than Sean in NSNA.

Give me NSNA over probably half of the EON films.

I haven't seen them recently enough to do any super serious rankings, but my top 3 are undoubtedly FRWL, GF, and Dr. No. In that order.

3. Thunderball (1965)
4. Dr. No (1962)
5. You Only Live Twice (1967)
6. Goldfinger (1964)

Yes, I said it. Goldfinger is my least favorite of Connery's six.

4. Thunderball
5. From Russia With Love
6. Dr. No
7. NSNA

All are top 10 Bond films and difficult to rank. I include NSNA because I think it is equally valid. It's Connery's worst, but still a very good Bond film.

The best of the Bond eras.

1. DR. NO
2. FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
3. THUNDERBALL
4. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER
5. GOLDFINGER
6. YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE

Each film is incredibly enjoyable. The Young films are the greatest, however, and are the best adaptations of Fleming's Bond, in my opinion. The scores for most of these films are great, too. I consider YOLT to be one of Barry's best scores, while DAF, TB, FRWL, and GF are also outstanding.
