Daniel Craig has shocked fans by telling a crude sex joke about oysters.

The actor, who was being interviewed by Rolling Stone, revealed a different side to his stiff upper-lipped Bond character.

The 44-year-old admitted that since shooting ended on Skyfall, he had been 'drinking heavily and reconnecting with family and self'.

He said of his latest blockbuster: "It's quite good. It's got a lightness of touch and a wink to it, because, after all, this is a James Bond movie, for f**k's sake."

Mid-interview, he launched into a joke and said: "What's the most disgusting thing you can think of?

"Shoving five oysters up your grandmother's c**t and sucking out six!"

He also doesn't appear keen to reprise his infamous role again, saying: "I've been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it, but they won't let me go, and I've agreed to do a couple more.

"But let's see how this one does, because business is business and if the s**t goes down, I've got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with."

He goes on to talk openly about his willingness to display full-frontal nudity in films, jealousy, insecurity of his ears, self-Googling, shoplifting, seeing a therapist and the definition of 'white-man porn'.

Hehehe ... so DC's not adverse to bad-taste jokes. Fair play to him.

I don't know about this ... I can easily picture Craig being un-PC, and I can picture him appreciating a dirty joke with equal ease ... but I just can't see him being so vulgar about it.

And this article also quotes parts of the Rolling Stone interview about Craig trying to get out of the Bond role as soon as he got into it, which is at odds with everything we've seen from him.

Cregg can be a bit of a chav.

Lay off chavs, alright? They get enough shit from their own country. They don't need it outsourced to Down Under.

I hold no grudge against the humble chav. Indeed, Australia was settled through British exportation of non-law abiding chavs.
