No, I didn't either ... or Martha, for that matter. And Catherine Tate's 'comedy' made me want to smack my head repeatedly against a wall ... but she was also a more-than-acceptable Doctor companion.

Oh I didn't mind Rose to start with. The constant dragging the Tyler family into everything grated after a while. And the end of the third Tennant series was bloody awful, to my mind. I seriously wanted to smack seven colours of shit out of them for that ending.

Oh yes. The Face of Boe. Bo? Boa? Him, anyway. Although we don't know how. He makes a throwaway comment to the Doctor that he was once a male model, known as the Face of Boe. And the Doctor and whichever companion share knowing looks.

I think that's in the series you're watching now, actually.

When I thought something was behind me ... yes.

And then I remembered the surround sound.

And then I remembered I am home alone.

... hate weeping angels.

And then when you look behind you, you're suddenly terrified of facing forward again, because everyone knows what happens when you do that in TV Land...... :affraid:

Some are complaining the new series is too scary for the kids...

I'm just hoping the ratings stay good, especially on BBC America in the USA so the standards remain fairly high...
