Jerry Jones wants to return to "glory hole days":

I know he didn't mean what most of us thought he meant; apparently it's an old expression, and he's using the oldest version of it, but still......it just sounds funny.

I think that's a really good short film. With a little better acting and cinematography, it would have been a great, modern exercise in visual storytelling.

A great film concerning religious liberty vs. monarchial(or any governmental) tyranny.

Both Burton and O'Toole are magnificent.

So, if you accidentally jumble some words in a sentence, then it means you're a reptile. Sounds legit.

Does it still apply when one is plastered at the bar, I wonder?

Great Charlton Heston epic in its entirety:

Also features Bond vets Walter Gotell and Eric Pohlmann(the voice of Blofeld in TB and FRWL) in supporting roles. It's also supposedly the last film screen in the White House(on November 10, 1963) during JFK's administration.

Here's the trailer in English:

and in French:

The theme song by the Brothers Four:

Nice! Pity about the subtitles. But nice picture quality, surprisingly. And I like the director, Nicholas Ray.

Always good to post this every once in a while. laugh

He kinda looks like Fleming.

Khan, have you seen Ray's JOHNNY GUITAR? It's finally on DVD here in the US.

America used to have a lot of badass directors.

Now we've got only 3 or 4, if that.

Ironside's good for it, mostly TOS of course and Boston Legal for latter day Trek alum.

If you're into that sort of thing of course.

Ken Annakin's 1969 mixture of his 1965 hit Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines Or How I Flew From London To Paris In 25 Hours And Eleven Minutes and the same year's similar The Great Race with the star of that film, Tony Curtis:

Gert Frobe's in the cast. The las of the 1960s all-star slapstick comedy chase epics that began with It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. The title song by Jimmy Durante is terrific.

^ Reminds also of Around the World in 80 Days which I watched recently. What an epic film that was (Best Picture Oscar of 1956)

Go big or go home, doesn't even begin to describe Producer Michael Todd, when it comes to this film.
