Love Dylan Moran ... Black Books is probably, ooh, Channel 4's second-finest sitcom (Peep Show shades it into first place) , and he's a superb stand-up too.

Pretty hilarious satire on the "grimdark" trend, right down to the nonsensical "twists" that pile up at the end. Colonel Moon even makes an appearance. Favorite quote has to be "the Machine Empire had better meth".
Fun part is that a lot of fans actually took it seriously and think this is how the movie should be.

from the Gerry Anderson YouTube channel
figured somebody might be interested, I didn't quite realise his level of involvement with Anderson. The first episode of this series featured Ed Bishop.

watching some of the extras on my Ben-Hur discs and surprised to see George Baker was screen tested for Ben-Hur himself.
Would've been quite the journey- historical epic to Sir Hilary Bray etc.

Brilliant. I may or may not have kept similar schedules when undertaking a Bond-a-thon...
Shame about OHMSS, though. I'd have gone straight from TB to OHMSS.
Well lads, I read in an obit' that Ms Blackman did this with Sir Patrick back in the day...

Ha, yes, I heard that line and winced. For a moment. Like the opening song in Gigi.

Haven't seen Gigi but wholly not surprised, given the novella was written by a woman who had an affair with her underage stepson. The left hold her in great regard, a hero for women's and LGBTHDKkjfhaj rights, having been in a relationship with a (newly coined) 'non-binary' person. Hypocrisy at its finest.
