Call Girl (2012)

Anyone know if this is worth seeing?

It's an account of the prostitution ring that operated in Swedish government circles in the 1970s. (The so-called  Geijer affair.) It implicated the Swedish prime minister Olof Palme, who was murdered some years later.

Call Girl was programmed at this month's Edinburgh Film Festival so a limited UK (and possibly US) release may be on the cards. Director is Mikael Marcimain, best known in England for his Wallander adaptations.

The trailer has me intrigued.

Apparently it was released in May over here, but it must have been a quite limited run, as I cannot find a single theater where it is still running.

It was playing in the Netherlands when I was working there earlier this year, but I suppose most territories think it is of local interest only. Which is bizarre if you know anything about the case - quite a scandal.
