| Recently, Wade tossed around the idea of having a news site associated with Bond And Beyond. I liked the idea, although I'm not sure if we'd have enough people interested in sustaining such a site. I've been thinking since reading his post, and thought it might be interesting if we had a blog connected to Bond And Beyond, rather than a news site. This way, we can gather contributors, post virtually anything we want related to Bond, and not worrying about keeping up with Mi6 and CBn and their Bond news. (A lot of the articles Mi6 posts are PR material, anyhow. When I operated Licence To Blog, various sites would e-mail me PR information, allowing me to post it on my site to give them a bit of exposure. So, you can bet when you read promotional information at Mi6, it's as generic as hell and was sent by someone in a PR position looking to spread the word about their product, event, etc.)
We've got a well rounded group of members here, in regards to Bond. I think a focus on elements of the novels would be interesting, along with original reviews, interviews, and editorials.
With all of the blogging platforms out there today, this would be very easy to do. |

| I like the idea. If there's enough support for that we should give it a shot. I'm not sure how much I'd contribute. I know Sykes would have loads to say about the novels if he were interested. |

| In terms of essays or reviews on the films or novels, I think this site would be a good model, particularly insofar as humour goes.

| I'm down, obviously.
If we do start a blog, do we have anyone who could put something nice-looking together? I think it'd be nice if we used something a bit classier than a generic blog template.
As for content, I agree. No sense in regurgitating the same news MI6 and CBn already has, though I think we should offer reaction pieces to big announcements, trailers, etc.
We should also start a Twitter account to get word out for whatever we publish. And even if we don't write a blog post on the latest "Skyfall" commercial, for example, we should/could still tweet a link to it.
I have some paid experience in writing, editing and social media so I'm happy to help out. My blogging expertise is a bit more limited, mostly from a design standpoint, but I can probably help out a little there, too. |

Yeah, it needs to be something appealing. I know a few people who are good at design, so I'll contact them to see if they'd be willing to help. |

http://n007.thegoldeneye.com/index.html I do like that blog. I venture something along those lines would work good for us, albeit with a better layout. |

| I think The Incredible Suit would be a good template. Somehow or another they managed to score an interview with Daniel Kleinman.
I'd love for a Bond & Beyond blog to be as bold as that.
Trev and Wade have good connections in the industry. Ask them. |

| I don't see any reason why we couldn't get those interviews. |
