What do we think of this news?

Is Charlie Higson going to do an adult Bond continuation novel now instead?

I tought Higson pretty much went through Bond´s complete adolescence? How much more do they want to rape this poor franchise?

Guess these will take him right up to the beginning (and possibly beyond) of his WW2 service.

No, I think the series will be up to 14/15 yers of age from what I read on other Bond forums. This still leaves it open for Higson to cover the war years if he is required so to do.

Hmmm ... it's just that in 'By Royal Command' Bond is 14, and I thought if Cole was picking up from where it left off (as the article states he will) we'd see Bond age from his mid-to-late-teens or early 20s across the proposed 4 books.

Well, don't quote me on it as I could be wrong, but I thought that was what I read on the same thread that I started on MI6 Community.
