EAST OF EDEN by a mile. Despite being set nearly half a century film before the other two, it feels timeless. To put it plainly: Kazan owns.

100% agreed. I love the cinematography, the locations, Raymond Massey, the score is good, while Dean (though overrated IMHO) has some pretty strong moments. I love this film quite a lot, and by and large agree with LS about Kazan.

It comes down to my preference between Ray and Kazan. Rebel for me.

Great documentary. Features Steve Allen, Sammy Davis Jr., Rock Hudson, Peter Lawford, Sal Mineo, Natalie Wood and Leonard Rosenman.
