Shooting doesn't begin until Spring of next year, so I doubt it's the set. At this point Abrams is trying to get some goodwill from the fans by buttering them up with nostalgia. He's a Hollywood executive that knows how to tell people things they think they want to hear. "It's gonna be gritty, like the original trilogy!", "it's gonna be shot on film, just like the original trilogy!", "hey, we have Lawrence Kasdan!", "look, R2 is back!", ect. Just a lot of talking, little else. Until I see something of his work on the film, I'm remaining very skeptical of what he brings to the table.
