Any fans of Peep Show here?
I first watched it a year ago on Netflix. I think I've seen every episode at least a few times now. Hilarious show. David Mitchell is an interesting comedian and, most of the time, it seems like he's method acting.
Loved this intro to the show: https://youtu.be/7Vw4PPcDSm4?t=18s
This was great, as well:

Peep Show sold well on DVD in UK, but wasn't that popular on-air even by channel 4 standards. It's a funny and influential show despite the low ratings - can't believe it's gone on so long, though.
Jez and Super Han's shit techno duo resonates with me. I think I did a few support slots for them. Also liked the episode where they joined the scientologists. Big Suze and Johnson are great as well; Paterson Joseph should be cast in Bond.

I think Mitchell or one of the writers said that they'll end the show in 2015.
Super Hans is a hilarious character. I enjoyed this scene where he kept going on about what he'd shove up his ass for "the love of his life" (an Asian woman who doen't even speak English): https://youtu.be/JIj84Msm09w?t=10m57s
Sophie Winkleman's quite a stunner. And royalty, too, it seems.

I'm looking forward to the new episodes and can understand why they're pulling the plug. Each season was consistently funny. Might as well end on top.

The final season begins on November 11th.
Unfortunately, I'll probably have to wait until Netflix picks it up before watching it.
In the meantime, I'll be revisiting the previous seasons. I think I've seen each episode 2 to 5 times. This show is brilliant. The comedy never gets old.
"We don't make the rules." "Well, you did make the rules." "Listen up, Hall and Oates. You're goin' for a little walk and you may be some time."

You should be able to catch it on http://www.channel4.com/search?q=peep+show nearer the time. You may need to hide your NYC location and conjure up a I_like_being_spied_on_by_the_NSA@gmail.com address.

I have to admit that last one is pretty clever as long as you're versed in Lawrence Oates folklore, which I guess is everyone in the UK over 30. After that, British history education is endless apologies for daring to fight European fascism and communism, and losing everything in the process. Most selfish of us. Oh, and how Mary Seacole is more important than Margaret Thatcher.
BTW, Brandon, if you like Peepshow, check out The Thick of It. Same writers and, dare I say it, a much better and more influential comedy:

Thanks for the suggestion, Sir Ambler. I've seen clips like that and it looks hilarious. Sometimes I wish I could act that way with some of the people that I have to associate with.
All four seasons are on Hulu, so I'll be checking it out ASAP.

For all the hilariously terrifying inventiveness of most of Malcolm Tucker's insults, there's a certain satisfaction in the simplicity of 'Kiss my sweaty balls, you fat fuck!' for me .
I get a kick out of Peep Show, too ... could well be Channel 4's finest sitcom, although Black Books and Father Ted are also strong contenders.

Anyone see the series finale? The Independent summed it up well:
Quote :
We’ve been with the duo for so long that I was fully expecting to be in tears during this episode, but unfortunately there isn’t a real pay-off on the claustrophobic ennui that’s been building over the seasons, with the pair just slouched watching a nature documentary, trading two internal dialogue lines that sum up their relationship:
Jez: “Ah, we do love each other really.”
Mark: “I simply must get rid of him.”
But I guess Peep Show did need to go out on a whimper to stay true to its ontological outlook. When life gives you lemons, you try and make lemonade for a bit and have a small amount of success, but then it stops selling and you’re just left with a fuck load of slowly rotting fruit, wondering what your next plan of attack is on the inscrutable target that is happiness.
Mark put it best earlier in the season:
“Butter the toast, eat the toast, shit the toast. God life’s relentless.”
I guess it was an appropriate ending, considering they're a bunch of misfit characters with dead-end lives. To top it off, Super Hans leaves them at the end to "van-it to Macedonia" and set up a moped rental. I expect they'll be seeing him again.
I loved this show. I'm looking forward to buying a Blu-Ray/digital HD set of the series if they release it. It's certainly a show you can keep returning to and be guaranteed a laugh.
Now onto binge-watching "The Thick of It" on Hulu.

Yep. Some big, definitive 'happy ending' for Mark and Jez to finish Peep Show would've been all wrong ... instead they royally fucked up their personal lives again and were right back to their deeply, pathetically co-dependent friendship.
