My abiding memory from when I was young was Euro '96. That was the last time I remember us winning a shootout internationally and yet, yes, we lost the semi which I'll never forget. 1990 I remember nothing. It's all rather unreal this year.

Old news, but Craig visited the CIA the other day. I wonder if that means featuring the United States in Bond 25. Would be the first time since CR with the Miami Airport sequence. 

And I also wonder it means greater focus on the intelligence business as opposed to a spectacle.

Could be a way to work Felix Leiter back in the films again as well. Would love if we got some old fashioned intrigue and intelligence work in the next film but won't hold my breath.

I think the Maori character could suggest two things - Dave Bautista is likely not returning as Hinx, and secondly, that New Zealand may feature.

The Den Of Geek article I saw about this surmised that the Russians may well be the villains, and the Maori an ally. Also, I think the beginning of the shoot was confirmed as December?

Early returns are not promising. I've believed for some time that the existence of Putrump is simply too tantalizing for Babs to pass up, and I may well be right. Bond as breaker of Brexit and borders, anyone? Bleurgh.

This movie might well turn out less than great, but I think it's a bit premature to make this judgment just on the fact that the villain or villains might be Russians, no?

What I find interesting is that presumably one of the Bond girls will quite possibly be the oldest actress that Daniel Craig has been paired with.

I think it was Erica Ambler who stated that Daniel Craig looked uncomfortable in some of the more intimate scenes with Léa Seydoux, so I wonder if a slightly older Bond girl might be a request made by him personally?

I thought Bellucci was already the oldest actress Craig had been paired with?
