| I enjoy these films - a lot more than Johnny English if I'm honest. I've wanted to see a 4th for so long so was great to hear that Mike Myers is reviving it. So much gold to mine from the recent Bond fil--- well it seems Eon will now have another film to draw inspiration from considering they turned to Austin for SPECTRE.
I wonder who the girl will be. I'd put money on Olga Kurylenko. |

| A fourth should definitely happen at some point but the over-reliance on toilet humor and crass nonsense really kills these films. Every time I feel like revisiting them and do so I'm quickly reminded of why I rarely re-watch them. The first film is still the best one because it is the most straight one and the sequels only have a few good gags mixed in with the nonsense.
And then one day I realized that the inspiration for these is the unquestionable superior. CR '67 is truly awesome. No toilet humor and with class and style amidst the chaos.
AP4 should have more in common with the spy spoofs of the 60's and less with what passes for comedy today. The stuff people remember from AP films are not the stupid jokes but the character moments which arise from the sheer madness of the story form.
Or simply have two hours of subtitled nonsense Powers speech. The only reason to ever watch Goldmember is to see flashes of Caine having a ball. |

| I just want to see overly sentimental, faux gritty scenes to parody CR, QOS and SP.
And just have some excruciatingly bad shaky cam for no reason. |

| The first 3 were pretty damn funny, so news of a fourth is welcome.
And let's not forget the Bonds themselves weren't exactly shy of 'lowbrow' humour, during the Moore era particularly ... the sound effect when he grabs the Sumo's ass, 'I think he's attempting re-entry, sir', that bloody double-taking pigeon, getting hit in the balls with a rooftop aerial etc etc etc. |

| I'd like a return of Heather Graham please. But less of the silhouette gags -funny in II but a bit drawn out and knackered by III.
Fingers crossed for a So, I Married an Axe Murderer 2... |

| A fourth Austin Powers film would be very welcome. Craig's era of Bond is ripe for good parody especially after Spectre. |

Fingers crossed for a So, I Married an Axe Murderer 2... Having been reduced to Foxy Bingo ads, I imagine she'd like a return too Hilly. |

I'm sure I read at the time, she was meant to return in Goldmember but something clearly went awry. She's still a bit of alright. Less said about those ads the better (and Harvey Keitel and his adverts) |

Probably. Hence why I'm keen to see it. - BI wrote:
