Danger 5 is like Team America crossed with Hammer, Ultraman and a misplaced World War Two. Favourite scenes include Goebbels getting a blowjob from Ilsa, a comely Soviet whore; a couple of Zeppelins hijacking the Eiffel tower; a girl getting raped by a pterodactyl; and the irresistible rise of Dr. Mengele’s lizard army.

All served with a liberal dose of casual sexism and an unfeasibly large number of bristols. And I thought Amsterdam couldn’t be improved upon...

It looks strangely entertaining. Like something out of Eurotrash meeting an episode of Thunderbirds. A send up and yet deadly serious in its weird way.

You can stream it on Netflix. I've seen a few episodes myself, I found it to be pretty damn entertaining.

This is the budget short that the producers made before Danger 5. The intention was to develop Italian Spiderman into a series, but the idea was crushed by Marvel's lawyers apparently. If you like Italian and Hong Kong pulp from the late 1960s it's pretty funny.
