According to multiple reports in the trade press, Placeholder Productions have secured the rights to 'James Bond The Musical'.

Executive Producer Merry Saltzman, daughter of original Bond co-producer Harry Saltzman, announced the news hinting that the show is aiming for a run either in Las Vegas or on Broadway next season.

A good bit of fun, but not sure it will work.

And luckily Merry Saltzman wasn't a Broccoli, otherwise it could sound suspiciously like a vegetable commercial...

And it seems that Miss Saltzman doesn't have the rights, so the musical won't be happening.

A Bond musical would've been a perfect opportunity for Timothy Dalton to reprise the role. He did a fine job in that movie where he fucked Mae West (aged 106).

What a horrific idea. Cancelled or not.
