The CIA should've enlisted the services of Ian Fleming.

I suppose this means that Gorbachev is the last consequential Cold War leader alive today (excluding Daddy Bush, who inherited a largely defrosted relationship).

Interesting that Fleming had Bond be favourably disposed towards the Castro rebels. I suppose at that point Fulgencio Batista fit the bill of the typical cash-laden nasty Bond usually went up against, more so than some bearded chap the jungle.

It killed Abe Vigoda as well. I was certain that it was just going to be Abe Vigoda and Fidel Castro as the last humans to alive on Earth. Both sitting in a Brooklyn diner post-apocalypse eating off a surplus of pastrami on rye and old coffee.
