Not sure about this... Might be interesting if Lazenby signed off on it, but the guy playing Lazenby doesn't look like him at all.

I'm tipping his next project will be RATFUCKED: The Kevin Rudd Story.

He looks more suited to play Julia Gillard.

Becoming Bond is getting a cinematic release this weekend in Australia ahead of the American release.

At an economical 90 minutes, I might be able to sacrifice the time to watch some terrible acting from Cassandra Clementi and Josh Lawson. On the plus side, Jane Seymour features in it in an acting capacity (not interviewee).

Googled 'Lazenby Maggie' and seemingly Georgie's casting agent was a Maggie Abbott.

Quite informative if one doesn't know Lazenby's story. Takes a little while to get to the Bond story, but it's funny and warm enough to get you through it. As expected, Lawson and Clementi were terrible, but everyone who watches the film is going in for one thing - to hear Lazenby's story. It's the moments where we hear his story told from the horse's mouth is it the most engaging. He's very candid, and it's reinforced by some old interview footage which I hadn't seen before.

Jane Seymour is a hoot! Would have been great to see more of her. A surprising omission of Cubby, but Saltzman and Hunt are there - the former a particularly exaggerated portrayal which was embarrassing at times. And the Bond theme pops up a few times - surprised they were allowed to use it, to be honest.

Hopefully this will pop up somewhere that those of us who can't be arsed with all that 'online viewing platform' bollocks can get to see it.

Thought this was a charming enough piece. A couple of touching moments from Big Fella, in between his cock-related escapades. Lawson would not have been an obvious pick to play Lazenby, but I suppose it worked well enough given the comedic tone of it all. Also was that a prosthetic arse-chin they gave him?

Oh and Jeff Garlin as Satlzman was an inspired choice.

You're probably right about Saltzman. Having read Moore's account of the LALD shoot, it doesn't seem all that OTT.

I've long been awaiting Lazenby's autobiography that's supposedly been in the works for a few years now. I hope it hasn't been shelved altogether at the materialisation of BECOMING BOND, thought I trust it is a fun film.

This definitely plays out like an autobiography. It's called Becoming Bond but it focuses on his adolescent years too. I suppose to demonstrate the roots of his womanising. 

But the written word would make for an interesting read. Definitely check out the film though.
