Battle of the Bonds!

A smaller moment at the end of OP and AVTAK, where the villain in an aircraft instructs his henchman to get outside and kill Bond. Which worked better?

AVTAK hands down (the airship finale more broadly).

It's got "He's Dangerous" and an ageing, dynamite-wielding Colonel Klink.

It may be the lesser movie as a whole but by and large any moment involving Walken or MacNee still stand above the earlier film and here of course we get that priceless moment where Walken chooses to go where few actors dare - he goes 'total Walken'

I do find AVTAK's the better of the two also. I'm not Gobinda's biggest fan, and his 'out there?' is a little too goofy for my liking. I much prefer Scarpine's look of vulnerability. But overall it's a good excuse for some excellent stunt work in both films whilst highlighting the utmost dedication the henchmen have to their masters.

The Octopussy scene for me, I think. Gobinda's 'WTF?!?' expression is appropriate, and I like how Bond dispatches him with the aerial 'flick' to the face.
