Moore will always be the longest serving in my eyes because I'm thinking in terms of Bond films released. 

I really hope they don't lift any material from Fleming's novels to waste it on Cregg.

Willing to bet they'll try something from Fleming. Maybe if they only have Bond walk past the New York Zoo and lament the lack of a reptile house.

EDIT: I imagine there would be inner turmoil about animals not being in their natural habitat. Bond must be, after all, a hero for activists.

Given my earlier wish on another thread for a more faithful You Only Twice adaptation they will probably wind up adapting it but only the chapter featuring Henderson talking about the chef who tossed a cat into the oven as the chef will be the main villain of the film and Bond will have to team up with an animal rights activist to bring him down.

The Bond girl woman non-binary activist named Jane Jones won't sleep with Bond because why would they? They will be played by Rebel Wilson. The male ally Bond boy will be played by Channing Tatum. He will be called Gimme YoCock and Bond will seduce him. The villain will be Mr Arrogant, a privileged, white heterosexual who will follow in the footsteps of Scaramanga and Alec Trevelyan.
