And Catholic priests are more interested in children.

"Mr Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The day has come, the time has come." If as spiritual as that implies, surely his blindness is part of his karma. And given his advanced age, he'd probably struggle getting it up and sustaining himself... A hefty fine would have sufficed.

"Me Too is forever ruining these men's lives!"

Meanwhile, out in the real world:

This is why I am convinced that even Weinstein will be allowed to return at some point.

The Bryan Singer thing is weird. It's not just that he was accused of serious crimes, it's that he acted super-unprofessionally on the last set he was on, disappearing for days without anyone knowing where he was and costing the production a huge loss of money. Just based on that, studios should be reluctant to hire him.

I probably should be outraged but I'm actually excited to see Polanski's new film.

Good to know Bardem has a brain, and I hope others listen to him. I'm looking forward to A Rainy Day in New York.

If you read into the situation Bardem is absolutely right. So at least someone pointed out that there is no case that can be pursued and people are merely exploiting the past without realizing it.

Peterson got embarrassed by an Aussie stand-up comedian, I don't really get why people hold him up as some great intellectual.

I guess anyone who doesn't take offence at every opportunity and rationalises their thought is refreshing.

I've followed Peterson for some time now and he gives me hope. In part because a feminazi blogger thought so many young people are starting to look up to him.

I'm interested to buy his books '12 Rules for Life' and 'Political Correctness Gone Mad'.

The same reason a lot of right wingers still champion losers like Ted Nugent.

I don't think Peterson has taken a knock financially by trading in his academic career in favor of becoming a Messianic figure to young fanboys. Quite on the contrary.

Incidentally I came across this earlier this week. blink

Both Peterson and Paglia are tenured but attempts were made to have them removed from their academic posts. Also I did say 'regardless of whatever personal wealth and fame they gather along the way'.

I can't access reddit right now but shall take a look later.

It's not that interesting, a young guy complaining that his girlfriend does not understand his obsession with Jordan Peterson and who broke up with him shortly after he dragged her to a lecture of his.

Speaking of Peterson, I stumbled across this welcome interview. About halfway through and even then it breezes by.

Woody Allen's A Rainy Day In New York has been shelved indefinitely. Hopefully Amazon find it in themselves to release the film. There's a good majority who would go and watch his film and don't subscribe to the Farrows' witch hunt. I pity them, the family who dedicate their whole lives trying to tear down the reputation of one man. That's a lot of hate to live with.

Their witchhunting has traction, certainly I've talked to two of my friends who have separately remarked on his 'weirdness' and the stories as if their gospel. I think Allen's heyday has come and gone, not that recent efforts haven't been good but I don't think he's guilty.

Woody is only guilty of being weird, just like most geniuses.
