This made me think, what would be the 'very complicated scenes' in past films?

Silva's introduction would have been very complicated from that first line, to how much to push the pseudo-seduction.

Bond and Pepper in the "you never seen a god-damn airplane before". Probably from laughing too hard.

There were complications shooting that first Rosa Klebb scene with Blofeld and it gave them hell in the edit. Not sure it was them trying to be more economical with the exposition, or not getting enough shots... It's in the FRWL making-of doco.
