I'm surprised that there's no thread on continuity for this movie. It probably has more issues than any other and needs a thorough accounting. We know it contains the grand daddy of them all with the car on the wrong side. There's the moon buggy wheel that rolls into the shot. Franks is holding a crow bar then he isn't then it's back again.

On of the stranger ones, like, how did they miss this, is how the monologue about the smuggling operation repeats a significant portion of the speech.

I'll add as I remember/ come across them. What do you have?

As added weirdness, assuming that Bond pressed floor 3 when he and Franks entered the elevator, why did it go to the 4th? I also thinks it's odd that Bond was standing by the stairs but got back on and rode down one floor.

Heh. You pay far more attention to those sorts of details than I do. I just go along for the ride and let it roll.

I only noticed the moon buggy wheel rolling into the shot for the first time a few months ago when reviewing the new 4K transfer. Couldn't believe I never noticed it after all these years!

That's the thing. I don't generally notice too much, but in this movie they just seem to jump out. Perfect movie for this to happen, though.

Me, too. I always noticed it but somehow ignored it, like it was from the car. I had to have it pointed out to really register.

Continuity isn't great in any movie, even outside Bond, up until the 80s. Part of the charm, nowadays.

And funnily enough, they're generally better movies overall.

The Vegas car chase is spoilt for me by the hundreds of spectators lining the streets to watch the action, now of course they would just be digitally removed, pretty sure the cop in this scene (you dirty.....) was the cop in LALD at the blocking of the waterway in the speedboat chase...happy to be corrected. unsure
