| I know there are lots of threads with "best of" and "worst of" lists, etc...but these polls that I'm going to be posting are not just generic, run-of-the-mill polls, but ask you to really, really assess the talent of the people in the categories listed. These posts, like the Oscars or The Razzies, are meant to get an idea of who is the most and least talented, not who you like the most. For example, I love Famke Janssen's performance in Goldeneye. It was fun and exciting, but speaking purely on the merits of talent I cannot say that it was a flawless performance. So please vote for the specific performance/talent involved, or lack thereof, and not simply who you just happen to like or personally dislike.
These polls will not be broken down and based upon type of role (i.e Bond Girl, villain, henchman, etc...) but strictly on talent
Polls close in 45 days. Ceremony announcing the winners and losers to take place in the Commander's Dining Room of the Denny's of your choice.

| Izzabella Scorupco. Hands down, on all fours. Sophie Marceau shouldn't even be an option.
Off to bed now. |

Damn straight, I was actually surprised not to find her in the Worst Actress category, despite the fierce competition. The "Eeet eeez my oil" rant is possibly the most unconvincing piece of Bond girl acting in the entire series. IMO. |

| Scorupco is very good, but Blackman is a terrific actress plus she has the insane chemistry with Connery that suggests as soon as the take ends, she will grab his end and drag him into the nearest haystack.
If there was category for most winning performance, it'd be D'abo and Bianchi, but Blackman just rules. |

| Rigg. Not that she was great, but she's the only one in the poll I would describe as an actress. The rest are ex- Baker St. |

If there was category for most winning performance, it'd be D'abo and Bianchi, but Blackman just rules. D'abo is one of my Top 5 Bond GIrls. However, when putting the list together I tried to put away my biases and prejudices and simply evaluate the talent on the screen. If we expanded the number of people who could get nominated (like the Oscars did) we Shirley would have D'abo as the sixth nominee. I could not put Bianchi in the category because her voice was dubbed for the entire movie. I will create a category for Best Performance By an Actor/Actress Speaking In A Foreign Language, and that'll help get Adolfo Celi, Gert Frobe, and Daniela Bianchi some press coverage. |

| How about best performance by an actress in a skimpy bikini or otherwise alluring swimsuit
The nominees are: Jill St. John as Tiffany Case Britt Ekland as Mary Goodnight Claudie Auger as Domino Ursula Andress as Honey Maud Adams as Andrea Anders
I vote St.John |

Please include Tetsuro Tamba as well in that category. His Tiger Tanaka is my favorite Bond ally and liked the others you mentioned, he was dubbed by John Hollis who also dubbed Adolfo Celi and Blofeld in the FYEO PTS. |

| Have to go with Tracy from this list, even though those weren't her legs at the ice rink (that was her decolletage at the baccarat table, however!) Personally I choose Kara Milovy every time. Rigg's the better actor, but Maryam was just so fresh and ingenuous. If Dalton's Bond could love her, then so could I (although after he's through with her, she probably wouldn't be interested in me much). Keep 'em coming, Grav. |

Keep 'em coming, Grav. I flirted with the idea of putting D'abo on the list, but with only five slots it was hard to do. Rigg isn't my personal favorite, but I knew a lot of people loved her, so I included her (to show how fair I am). I think D'abo turned in a very good performance, but because of the role being somewhat innocent and naive, she may not register with as many fans as some of the flashier, stronger Bond Girl roles. My own personal favorites include: Lois Chiles, Rosamund Pike, Maryam D'abo, Izzabella Scorupco, and Sophie Marceau, but I'm also fair enough to admit that Chiles performance wasn't as strong as any of the other actresses listed above or in the poll. |

| Give me Tania Mallett and Mie Hama (although dubbed), Catherine v. Schell, Jill St. John, Gloria Hendry, Britt Eckland and Carey Lowell (those eyes!) .
I realize several of these are supporting players, and that this is your poll, but I just had to say.
As for the worst actors, with the exception of Tanya Roberts, I prefer to say nothing if I can't say anything good. |

| Dianna Rigg easily.
And Sophie Marceau? *sigh*
"EET EEZ MY OIL! MY!"
When Bond shot her I cheered. When he mourned over her corpse I thought "she was a psychotic one night stand, WHAT ARE YOU BOTHERED ABOUT!?" |

| Dame Diana. Brings something special to the role and yes Tracy was blonde in the book but it's immaterial to her performance. And a splash of Emma Peel during her Piz Gloria scene. |

| My vote goes to Eva Green without question. I thought she did a great job of bringing Vesper to the big screen and her performance, along with Craig's performance, was a large part of what made the film successful for me. Green took a character who wasn't particularly well written in the script and made her into one of the better Bond women of the franchise. |

Catherine Tate, who played Donna Noble on Doctor Who, has a comedy routine where she plays a recalcitrant schoolgirl who'll launch into rants which always begin with "Are you bovvered? The one where David Tennant plays her Shakespeare teacher is classic. It just came to mind when I read your post about Elektra's ranting about oil, and Bond being bothered about shooting her. "I'm not bovvered. Are you bovvered?" (With this typeface, it's hard to tell two vs from a w. Sorry.) |
