On the trail of 007...

I may or may not have advertised this previously, but here we go again - this August I'm finally expanding my wings and after a good year and a half of saving, am heading on a 3 month European odyssey. Amongs all the frivolities theres a great deal of sightseeing that will be involved, and naturally enough as a long term Bond fan, theres a site I feel I just have to visit.

Naturally that is Piz Gloria (aka Shilthorn) in Murren, Switzerland and I've done plenty of research into how and when I'll get there. So thats my Bond story.

But surely theres others out here who have a story to share, a place to recommend about, something they want to see in their own travels - I'm sure also the Londoners among us know of plenty of Bond sites/sights. :)

When I went to London a few years ago, I took a James Bond tour. I visited Ian Fleming's London apartment, the College Of Arms, MI6 from John Glen's era, and drove past the actual Mi6. Of course, I couldn't actually go into any of them, but it was very interesting to be there.

Oh and when I climbed the Eiffel Tower, I was imagining the chase between Bond and Mayday.
