A Bondathon Stream

This is a concept I've been toying around with for a while. Basically, we set a time where all/most members gather around their computers to watch a Bond film through a video internet stream. We can chat, comment, razz, and enjoy watching Bond in like minded company.

I've done video streams before. It's fun, even when you don't pay attention to what's on screen. I think with the group we have here, we can make this work.

Yep. And if there's an entire Bond film on YouTube, we can even watch it on-site here. Maybe there's a chance of an entire run in the lead up to Bond 23, depending on stream availability of course.

Count me in. Where would the stream be held?

This sounds like a hell of an idea.

Also sounds like a scheduling nightmare, though, considering everyone's different daily routines and timezones.

Brown and Tubes organised one at Studio B. As I recall, it was indeed a scheduling nightmare trying to get Europe and the USA together; when it finally happened I missed it.

We'll probably show one of the classics. Maybe a doublebill. I'm thinking DAF and Devil in Miss Jones.

Yep. It's a fun concept, but tough to do. Maybe if everyone interested could post times (with time zones) that would be satisfactory for viewing, then a screening could be set up.

For me, a Thursday or Friday would be best. After 5 or 6 pm EST.

Maybe this will work better in the summer, when some folks are out of school (or not teaching it, in my case) and might have a little more time to be flexible with.

Unless the film in question is AVTAK or QOS in which case there are few tits to be seen.

90% of AVTAK comments will involve Jenny Flex's outfit and methods of removing it.

I quite like this idea too. I'm pretty flexible so far as times go. How does one go about setting up a video stream?

And what did you watch at Studio B?

I would be interested in it. It sounds pretty neat. My schedule is hell though. It's all over the place, but hopefully I'll be able to join in!

How 'bout starting this up again Tubes, maybe along with a non-Bond film one?

I recall that we screened Dreyer's VAMPIRE over at Studio B.
