I am not a fan of LEO!!

he didn't convince me as Howard Hughes;

he doesn't convince me as J. Edgar Hoover.

he doesn't even resemble either of them.

who is he going to play next?

JFK?

stop giving him roles just because you want to get his name on the marquee!

J. Edgar Hoover

J. Edgar (2011) Hooverbefore

Howard Hughes

J. Edgar (2011) 63550-he

Nope! No resemblance between them and Leo!!

Leo looks like a kid that aged 20 years before he had the chance to become a grown man!!

Also when he opens his mouth and speak, he still sounds like a kid!!

His appearance and resemblance to the famous persons he is portraying in these dramatic biopics is absolutely not believable!!

He wants to do the life of Ian Fleming ... apparently doesn't realize Geoffrey Rush was born to play that role.

He was okay in the Scorsese/Nicholson pic, which I really enjoyed, but I liked everybody else better than him.

I don't get the Leo appeal at all. He was effective in QUICK & THE DEAD, but as a 'leadine man' he is anti-captivating. And as of late his forehead is so distracting I think he is wearing a Michael Westmore makeup appliance from the late ModernTrek era.

As much as I enjoy INCEPTION, I find Leo is like Kyle in DUNE ... a black hole the rest of the movie gets sucked around. Jon Hamm would have made INCEPTION prid near to perfect.

the girls age 12-19 find him attractive -that's why Titanic made so much $

some of them watched the film 30-40 times and on the average, 4 times

This flick looks terrible.

I like Leo in INCEPTION. He has a quality that suits the film, even if I can't quite put my finger on it. I do think he was a decent Hughes in THE AVIATOR (the movie itself wasn't much more than yer usual Hollywood biopic stuff, though).

Interesting idea, but something about it doesn't work for me. Maybe it's because Leo seems geekier than Hamm that I can buy him in that pseudo-scientist role. Hamm is a bit too strong; he doesn't have enough fragility in his build.

I wish that Eastwood would do a film like GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK.

I'm not sure about this one. Still looks better than most of the popular shit that came out this year, however (like SUPER 8, SUBMARINE, BRIDESMAIDS). I trust that this will be an intelligent biopic; the acting just might not be up to par.

Respect The Eastwood.

I love Eastwood as an actor. As a director? Not so much.

Why? That wasn't a good film either. George Clooney's a rubbish role model.

Clint should watch De Niro's THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

Not like a copy of GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK. I mean a film about McCarthyism and Murrow.

The preview definitely had me thinking of THE GOOD SHEPHERD. I assume you're a fan, Sharky?

I recall liking it when I saw it in theaters.

Yep, LIONS FOR LAMBS too. I recommend both for trimmer, Eazy-A, Gravitits, and the rest of BAB's conservative backbone.

The film may turn out to be excellent and Leo will surely deliver another trademark intense performance, but I can't imagine being that emotionally invested in it. The subject matter doesn't look too interesting to me.
