Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool

Have to admit it's a great cast. And it does look promising. Hope it gives Babs the Oscar she's been craving.

Agree about the cast. Tragic romances aren't really my thing, though.

Was this released too late for the Academy's consideration, or is it just not good (enough)? I haven't seen it so can't form opinion of its quality, but Babs must be fuming if it it didn't get recognised (had it been released in time).
