What happened to this poll? This is not the poll I started. There are nominations on here that I didn't put in place.

The original poll had Eric Serra's score in there (which was roundly criticized as being so inadequate that someone else had to score parts of GOLDENEYE), as well as Michael Kamen's score (which was roundly criticized but I liked it) and I believe I had Tom Conti's decent, but dated, FYEO score in there. Now I come back and look at the poll and 4 of the original picks are gone and replaced with 3 David Arnold scores????

Can't believe GE isn't running away with this.

Gravy I don't know what you're seeing but my screen still has GE and only one David Arnold.

Not anymore. That was the fan reaction back in 95-97, but today the score's pretty well admired. Many here prefer to David Arnold's efforts.

RE: Kamen and Conti. LTK's fairly unremarkable, but it's alright. It's hardly hated upon. FYEO has got it's detractors, but most consider it a kickass, anthemic, slice of disco porn heaven. .

And the gremlins are at work in more than one poll. Is there a hiccup in the system or is someone so desperate to attack David Arnold that they've got to fix these polls?

Agreed. I love Serra's score for GE and consider it to be one of the best parts of the film (although that's not really saying much as GE is about as mediocre a Bond film as there is).

Wrong species altogether, and you're going to need a bigger thread.

All polls will hopefully be restored in the next hour, while I demand that a container will be dropped off the coast of Burma in the Mergui Archipelago, Latitude 20 degrees north, Longitude 60 degrees east, at 2000 hours Greenwich Mean Time on May 27th. It will hold blue-white flawless diamonds between three and eight carats. Total value to be not less than 100 million pounds, present market price.

After we have recovered the container and verified its contents, you will be notified on radio frequency 16.23 megacycles where your polls will be restored.

These were legitimate, scientific polls for the National Institute of Health and Science, backed by United States job stimulus funds. Several minutes of research and development have gone down the toilet, the results lost for all eternity.

What on earth has happened to this poll? From what I can read, the David Arnold score title at the top of the poll seems to have been changed, regardless of votes cast for whichever Arnold score was there previously (The World Is Not Enough? Casino Royale?), and now we seem to have Sharky holding the poll to ransom?

:lol!:

If anything needs fixing in this topic (besides the fix to get David Arnold to win it!), please feel free to PM me.
