| Well, Sharky, I hope you return soon. Losing Ambler is bad enough.
:x
I certainly don't want to leave BaB. I want to give this place every opportunity to succeed. Slinking back to the alien MI6 or returning to lifeless CBn would be a gut punch. |

| I must bow out for the time being. Not due to any personal reasons or issues with the small number of members here. Rather, my computer went down. Again.
Once it comes back up, I'll be back. It's just a matter of when. |

I could never attempt going back to either. It's no option for me. I'm sure when Bond 23 begins production activity will rise, maybe not as much as it would on the more popular sites. I know this is where I will want to discuss it and I hope others feel that way. |

| I'm sure this place will pick up again soon. We just have little Bond related to discuss that hasn't been discussed dozen of times before. |

| I've returned after non-scheduled departure. Basically I stepped away for a few days and couldn't remember my log-on password and was too lazy to go through the procedure to get a new one. Anyway after a couple of months away, I checked out the old site a few days ago. Been chipping in a bit here and there, but that site rally has died in a big way. There is nowhere near the same volume or variety of threads. I was on and off within a half hour, each time I logged in. In the old days I could spend hours on the old site, but the vast majority of the provocative posters are all over here now. Its just that this site lacks the volumeof membership to keep it really noisy, but there is lots of good reading on here that I'm catching up on - moreso than the other place. I would like to see the mods throw this site wide open and bring in as much new blood as possible and pull more peoople over the from the other site, but that's just me. I defer to the mods. The mods and admin utlimately have to decide what they want from any given board. Anyway, I stumbled across the Canadian politics thread and spilled my joy over the recent election results. I am still literally hopping down the street in the morning with exuberance. I don't think I've ever been so happy over an election . Looking forward to see what else is going on around here. ===oh and one more thing. Thanks to whoever found this awesome DAF Sean avatar!!!!!! |

| Thank God you're back, tw! I was wondering what happened to you.
And congrats on the electoral results. Now if only we Yanks can follow your salutary example a couple of years from now. Personally, I have my doubts. |

I see you have changed your name again and still as cryptic as ever. Thanks on the elections results. The sun truly is shining brighter. It's like a new dawn. The birds are chirping louder. I think I bounced :bounce: down the street today. Been doing a lot of hopping and skipping but today I think I was in full bounce - like the guy in the Viagra commercials. Such a wonderful time and lets not forget what went down in the civic elections last fall. The loonies from Pluto were given the boot . The new common-sense Mayor this week got the ban on street hockey lifted. The car tax we had to pay is gone and this week he even guided through the vote to privatize garbage collection. No more being held hostage by public sector garbage strikes. See, get rid of the loonies and the City smells better, kids can play ball hockey again and Miss Universe :queen: is welcome back in the public square. I can't wait for her glorious return from exile. |

But he did wish a nice summer and promised to be back, so summer ends late September. He should be back around then. At least that's what he said, but he'll have to go through the hassle of re-registering, which I guess isn't that hard. But deleting his account suggests he's serious about hiatus, unlike most people who always drift back because they can and they want to. |

I admire that. High marks for decisiveness. Low marks for intestinal fortitude, perseverence and loyalty. |

| Realistically, one deletes one's account, destroys bookmarks etc if one figures one might be tempted back.
If one is geuninely dis-interested, none of the above is necessary. One just moves on. |

| Interesting way of looking at it, tiffy. Knowing Ambler, however, I doubt we'll see him around here again. He's far too proud. I hope I'm wrong, of course. |

| It does say on the profile that deletion of the account is "a one-way action", which sounds pretty final. |

| He can re-invent himself when he decides to come back.
Ambler, come back! (with apologies to Shane.) |

Whereabouts on the profile is that? |

| Down the bottom, at the "delete your profile" tab, it says: - Quote :
- Click here to delete your account. This is a one-way action. You will receive an e-mail to validate this deletion.

| I can't find the "delete your profile" tab. It's not under Information, Preferences, Signature, Avatar etc... |

| It's at the very bottom of "information", under the contact field part. |
