| Hello, all.
Just coming up for air from about 6 weeks of BIZZY at work. Sorry about the quick exit but between work and discovering Breaking Bad, I've not signed into much but FB these days.
Tonight I'm finally treating myself and hubby to a night out to see the symphony play the Bond themes. Hoping to catch up with all of you in the coming week. |

Right, that's our statutory two posts for this new week, then. We'd better pack up. You can be the back end of the horse. Time to take this pantomime on the road! Two up, four down. Steet Cats. Ye naughty sprites. This is ANGER NOW! You can see I'm concentratin'! Jazz Hour. Smokin' Julie. Later. P.S. And I've gone and got 11 posts just out of this bit. So go and sit on your turnip and think up another one-liner. Beat that!

I came here after original MI6 went belly up and I said I wouldn't go back. That and a combo of seeing what MI6Community have said to and about BaB means I don't think I could set up shop there no matter how much some want my fanfic there. |

No, I fully understand that, although I was not a member of MI6 Community at the time nor until December 2012 when I had been banned from CBn Forums. I know there is much ill-will between both sites but a lot of bile is spilt here about MI6 and so on so we can't really say much. Keep doing what you're doing here - people will come here for it if they're eager enough to read it. I think that it's important to remember that. |

| I've not been named in this correspondance by those lot over there but I'm probably seen as a yes man and Benedict Arnold. No matter. We've got a few left here. This forum will rattle on. Lazenby. as far as I know is the only admin' left and so I lack the absolute power therefore to lock this place up. :) |

| I think the recruitment drive I was involved in rankled the admins and mods, but that has been forgiven. I still care deeply about both sites and I just wish that they could peacefully co-exist and let by-gones be by-gones. In a way they have as a mod from here banned over there is allowed to post under a different account. Perhaps we can reciprocate by not slanging MI6 like some members did in the past in moments of weakness. We surely shouldn't remain defined by or in opposition to another site. We need to decide what is Bond and Beyond about, not what it is not or what it is rallying against. Only that way can we hope to recruit new and interesting members here again with something new to say without the constant harking on about blog promotion and this and that. Negativity like this is hardly the father of originality in post content. People choose to stay away from this place for a reason. Sad but true. Whatever it was that happened in March 2011 that caused the split is old news; they've moved on, now it's our turn. |

| As far as I'm aware it's been quite some time since anyone here had anything good, bad or indifferent to say about the 'other place'. I think we HAVE moved on. |
