Spoilers

Dear all,

As a courtesy to posters who want to go into SF in the dark, as it were, please preface any post containing new information about the film's plot with the notation "Spoiler Alert" or suchlike. Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to have an option to choose a prefix before a thread title? Eg, 'Spoiler'. That way a spoiler thread can be identified right away. I've seen some boards with that option, especially on music boards. so threads come with prefixes like Rock, Alternative, Pop etc....

And if it's not too much to ask, a generic thread title. The last thing we want is for people to post SPOILER: M DIES! in the title.

Yeah, but it's j7. It's probably going to be a) wrong or b) misleading; ie he'd post M DIES! as the thread title when it should read M DYES! because Judi Dench is dying her hair to play a younger version of herself.

Still a little mystified as to how he 'got in' here ... and not entirely convinced that he isn't CASINOROYALE's father. It would explain a lot.

I think it'd be more of a spoiler to say that M survives... based on what we've seen.

We haven't actually seen anything, considering that Judi Dench hasn't filmed anything yet.

Wrong. They filmed her getting in the jag while talking on the phone, followed by several shots of her looking out the window, taken from outside the car.

Okay, so they have filmed her. But what the filmed provides no evidence that M will die. That's just fan speculation accepted as fact because Judi Dench is unpopular as M.

I think "unpopular" might be a bit harsh. There's certainly a contingent of fans that don't care for her, but I think they are in the extreme minority. And even though I was against bringing her back for the Craig films because of of continuity issues, I can't help but remark about how talented she is. I still think her M worked best with Brosnan's Bond and that we're still covering a lot of the same issues we covered during Brosnan's tenture, but Dench is M and that's that.

Dench is my favorite M, but even I would like to see the M/Bond relationship move on. And the complaints I've had about the M/Bond relationship are not Dench's fault; I blame Babs Coltrane for them.
