I'm running Firefox. It looks fine on Chrome. Like I said, I tried deleting cookies to try to get it to look right but to no avail.

I had that problem briefly but it went away pretty quickly. That was a week or two ago.

For anyone who's having problems with the new text buttons, click on 'Switch Editor Mode' on the bottom right of the display.

Damned if toggling the thing works. Toggled or not I can't seem to get my cursor outside of the quote box (when indeed quoting).

Yes, the quote system is 'new and improved', marketing speak for fucked. I've stopped quoting altogether.

The change is widespread, unfortunately. Unless the higher up get wise, we're stuck with this "improvement".

Indeed, was just trying it out. It looked ok on mobile, but I'm guessing it looked like sh*t fullsized. No worries.

The new default reply editor is a bit of a nuisance, if you click to quote it presents the quote in a yellow box and you cannot seemingly write outside it.....a workaround is to click the 'switch editor mode' button and land yourself back in the antediluvian style html editor we had before - more a case of treating the symptoms rather than the cause mind.

Bring back the BBCode.

Php seriously needs to bring back the older editor, it's very inconvenient.

The text box in general is a pain in the arse. When reading topics I tend to hit the backspace to return to previous but now it seems the cursor just doesn't want to know and blinks away in the text box. Likewise the much mentioned quoting.

I suppose one plus is that it tempoarily halts those seemingly endless quoting upon quoting that can happen :D

And the place still looks like this to me, except with the updated color scheme. I've cleared my history, cache and cookies to no avail.

Having the same issue with quoting as Wade.

I get the 'only mods can see this hard core pornography' problem, but not the missing banner.

Last button immediately above the text widow allows you to 'switch editor mode' and reverts to the old editor whereby you can quote and add your own text etc.

I am having the same problem as wade (no banner) when viewing the site from work though I see the banner when browsing at home (maybe a security/privacy issue perhaps).
