Bond 25 (2019)

He took his shirt off on a period drama. Some people enjoyed it. Is that the winning criteria for potential Bond applicants nowadays? I'd be surprised if Turner's "meeting with the producers" is little more than paper talk.

I said from the start that Craig's lack of chest hair made him unsuitable for the role.

Although that said, if memory serves you're not a Brosnan fan and he was another one with a bathroom mat seemingly stapled to his torso.

Brosnan's most Seanesque moments were when he had his kit off.

A friend's uncle has worked on every Bond film since GE (except SP) in the visual effects department... Apparently, Dan Stevens is the one to replace Craig. God I hope that doesn't happen, but I wouldn't put it passed Miccoli.

I would like to believe it's a joke but given it's someone who's full first name is Daniel and dyes his hair blonde I wouldn't put it past Babs to cast him.

I presume 'last time' was for CR, and 'this time' is a presumption on his part that there are actually auditions going on.

I just caught a bit of an episode of Poirot on TV, and Michael Fassbender is in it, drinking, smoking, sitting around looking cool and I'll be damned if he doesn't get Bond after Craig leaves.

That Poirot was 2005 though, I do think his age, not to mention his exposure will count against him given that the films are releasing at 2-3 years minimum interval.

He's still very good looking for his age, but unfortunately I'm afraid lachesis may be right. They should have cast Fassbender instead of Craig.

Regardless, I'm still holding out for Fassbender.

I don't think I would have wanted Fassbender wasted on CR, QOS or SP, to be honest. He would have done brilliantly in SF, though - even if he would have been a little young.
